Hello and welcome to Werrington Cricket Club.
Our club has five senior cricket eleven's four play in the cornwall cricket leagues at Premier,division 2, division 3 and division 5 east. We also have a fifth eleven who play in the Tamar League. Our junior section have teams at under 11, 13, and 15. This season 2011 we are forming our first girls under thirteen cricket team.
You are most welcome to look around, but the real benefit comes when you register. You will be able to access Club information, Statistics, photo's and much much more.
Not sure what to do at the weekend? Want to participate in the national Summer sport? Want to play at the highest standard? Want to be coached by UKCC level 2 qualified coaches? We have excellent training and playing facilities which are second to none.We have three superb cricket grounds along with a set of three lane full length all weather cricket nets and bowling machine.
Welcome and join us. We're a progressive club, set in a wonderful part of the county, and offering friendship, support and enjoyment, both on and off the field.
Great news .... We have acheived Clubmark accreditation. That means that we are recognised as a child friendly club, with child protection policies in place in accordance with ECB guidelines. We are also involved with the ECB Chance to Shine project where our coaches go into the local schools and deliver cricket coaching to pupils.The pupils and families will then be encouraged to come down and get involved with the club both on and off the field.
